Lotte Chemical held the ‘1st Environmental Love Quiz Contest’ to improve executives and employees’ understanding of environmental laws.

This quiz contest was designed to increase understanding of environmental laws and regulations that are continuously being strengthened and to improve the level of environmental management at all business sites.

The training content consisted of four sessions: ▲ Introduction to environmental management and major environmental laws, ▲ Understanding of integrated permits and precautions for integrated follow-up management, ▲ On-site inspection and management methods for emission facilities, and ▲ Compliance matters for on-site management under the integrated law system.

After employees at all domestic business sites completed learning about recently changed environmental laws and regulations through video training, they participated in the 'Environment Love Quiz Contest' online, encouraging many employees to voluntarily complete the training and participate in the quiz contest.

In this quiz contest, many executives and employees from each business site participated, and a total of 24 people won awards. The results of the winners were announced on World Environment Day on June 5, once again emphasizing the importance of environmental protection to executives and employees.

Starting with this quiz contest, Lotte Chemical plans to continue to provide detailed environmental law-related education according to job and position.

Lotte Chemical said, “We have prepared this training and event to proactively respond to changing environmental laws and regulations by raising the level of environmental management of executives and employees at all business sites,” and added, “We will continue to spread our efforts and practices to comply with environmental laws and regulations.” “I look forward to it,” he said.
