THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Sep. 13, 2023 – SI Group, a leading performance additives company, announced today the launch of its REZICURE? PRO 2210, a high-performance, multi-functional curative for polyurethane and epoxy adhesives. This latest innovation will be featured at the upcoming FEICA European Adhesive & Sealant Conference and Expo in Tarragona, Spain.

REZICURE PRO 2210 can increase bond strength while reducing usage volume in comparison to other industry benchmark curatives for polyurethane and epoxy adhesives. Because of its key attributes, this product is a compelling new tool for the formulator’s toolbox, with properties including:

  • longer operating window for polyurethanes/polyurea;
  • stronger adhesion to metal substrates; and
  • low viscosity for easy handling and processing.

REZICURE PRO 2210 is the first product launch in a platform of REZICURE PRO curatives being developed by SI Group for the adhesives market. “Our innovation efforts in adhesives focus on developing high-performance curatives for structural bonding. This increases the value chain’s sustainability by enabling producers to do more with less,” said Ken Lauffer, Market Development Director - Rubber Converters & Adhesives at SI Group. “REZICURE PRO 2210 high-performance curative gives the option of reducing the application volume by 30% or increasing bond strength at equivalent levels.”

The launch of this product reinforces SI Group’s commitment to supplying its customers with leading products in the adhesives market. The company plans to continue expanding their portfolio with innovative, high-performance, and sustainable products.
